Sadly not! Our house is tiny and I work from home 80% of the time, so this will double up as my office space and, when I'm not in it, a bit of additional living space for us/the kids.

Just got the stove in place last night, to figure out the exit position of the flue through the roof

Strong progress!

Super cute stove, but that is all you will ever need! Good to see you have a window you can open up to let heat escape!

Love how noggins become shelves and are a great way to store tools and screws off the floor as the build progress. We had an unclad walls in our downstairs WC for about 6 years! One of the walls was used to distribute power around the house after a complete rewire so it was the last room we finished... until we started again on some of the other rooms!

Raidan here’s the damage. 30k biomass boiler written off since base plate bent, and 5k pump and control station behind the wall wrecked. Looks like nothing, but trace the cracks…roof compromised…I managed to get an Acrow under it within 15mins and within 30mins is had become fully loaded up. Gulp. 60mm custom timber doors. Argh.

Good to hear! A neighbour of mine (2 doors up) wrote of her nextdoor neighbours van. She was a frail old lady and had a modified Motorbility? car. Sometime went wrong with it and she ended up driving straight into it a some crazy speed writing-off the van, damaging the pavement and demolishing the boundary wall of his property. Cars can be dangerous things! Or is that the little people who drive them?

Yes @27motorhead, noggin shelves are always super useful. Once the walls are boarded there's nowhere for anything to go!
