A bit of info on head tubes. It's not the case that until 94 all were 1". I've had a few M2 Teams, all built 90,91,92 and the head tubes varied. My assumption given experience is that if the frames were supplied with an FS fork they had 1-1/8" head tube, and if they were supplied with rigid DD...

I reckon perhaps something like a 93 Dawes kickback but they had forward facing post clamps. Not sure what they were like in 92 - if they were rear facing then that's my bet. Lugs and routing and dropouts and all other bits seem to tally.
Perfect. They're 1" steerer so you could use a USE shim to fit seat tube and probs modify a USE seat post cradle to fit the dropouts or bolt a mounting through the holes in the legs. I'll put them to the side for when you're next over for biscuits. Actually, they're still in the same place as...
