    Re: Lovely bike. I often chat with Mark Swinnertons at Cannock Chase Cycle Centre about the 'old' days. They did have a frame builder at Swinnertons back in the day and yes they also used Longstaff. Mark is a really lovely guy - I'd give him a ring to know anything about the Swinerton...

    The weight is approx 1500g for the pair. I'd say they were maybe 1/3rd worn, I dont know, difficult to say. there is some wear but not really very much. The lines you can see are more staining than grooves. They are less than a year old. I had the purple nips to match my modern build on...

    This spec of wheel costs a lot to build. Hubs are 180 pounds pair Rims are 38 each DT Rev spokes are 2 pounds each! Wheel build is 30 pounds. That's nearly 400 quid!!! Cheers, Chaser.
