Thanks for the help so far. I now need a new rear derailleur. I have shimano shifters and it's a 9 speed. Can I use an 8 speed derailleur( because I have a spare) and what does the cage length mean?
What part are you calling the rear link? How do I fix it? Are you talking about the part I can adjust the rear travel? I have not had a lot to do with dual suspension bikes so I have alot to learn
So I went to the local bike place, they told me That it can be fixed by drilling it out and using a fitting to fill. Has any one heard of this before. Also I have been offered a set of triple forks. I was told the triples could damage the head. Has any heard of this before.
pictures as requested. thanks for the help so far. Did this thing come with "triples" on the front from factory, I have been offer a whole bike and it has a good set on it but I am worried I will do damage if I put them on and they are not for the bike
what year model did you track it down to. I do think its a bitsa as the cables for the disc's do not seem to fit the bike, they are held on by cable ties.
Hi all,
I have a what I believe is a 2000 bighit fsr, I damaged the rear derailer and hanger hitting a little pebble a few years back and due to illness and moving twice I seem to have lost the derailer and hanger.
If any one could help me out with a picture of the hanger that would be great...
Hi all, joined the forums because of this thread. I have what I believe is a 2000 big hit fsr. It appears to be a bitsa but I like it.
It needs some work but I will ask for help in another thread.
