You're not the first person I've seen running two different Schwalbe tyres. From pictures though, the Hans dampf looks like it has a more compact tread pattern, which I think would clog with mud more easily than a Mary? I dunno. Maybe it's just the pictures making it look like that. Want to try...

I see them. Might be a bit too long still (have 175mm fitted at the moment) so was really looking for the 165 or even shorter, but might be a good plan B if all fails.

After a set of cranks; 165mm arms, 73mm bottom bracket. Mid range like Deore/SLX/LX Ideally hollowtech 2 but anything else that uses the same external BB would be fine.
