It's a great bike for what it is but it's too small for anyone in my family. I don't think I would break up this bike any more than I have. It was cheap...

Happy Easter everybody. This is starting to look like a bike now. I'm still waiting on the decals. I hope they didn't get lost in the mail. I'm also waiting on new springs for the U-brake and a shark fin protector for the chainstay. Hopefully I can get this project finished in the next week or so.

I was really on the fence about voting for the Brodie or the Raleigh. That was close! Both are amazing bikes and could have easily won if they weren't competing against each other.

They didn't come yesterday. Maybe today. I can see that the package is at the local distribution center. It got there Friday night. My second set of spokes came yesterday.

My front derailleur came today and the seller sent me this awesome sticker! I need to find a place to put it. I'm strangely excited about the sticker. Anyway, I checked tracking and my decals should get her tomorrow.

It took me a long time to find replacement brake pads for this but they do look great.

I watched a couple videos on youtube of people drilling frames for internal cable routing to install dropper posts. I suppose the top tube of the Kona could be drilled for internal cable routing for a rear brake. It would be easier than brazing on a cable stop and having to repaint. It isn't a...

That's genius. I was trying to think of a way to use that type of cable hanger to make it work but I didn't think of using it that way. I'm not sure if it would work on the Kona. The brake cable would sit high off of the top tube.

I think I'm going to return the new grips. I think I vintage is better too.

I bought these new foam grips for the Ultra, but now I have the vintage Ritchey grips that I pulled off the Bridgestone. I like both. I'm open to opinions. What do you think?
