    Found in my local classifieds...

A TCR Once .... with campagnolo etc 350euros. I don´t know how sizes works in road bicycles but I like this one a lot . Except for the wheel set, it is not the original. The other problem is that I don´t know what to do with a road bicycle ... some single tracks? 😬

    Bb30 crank question/help

I don´t understand, the BB30 press fit is the Bottom bracket, not the crank set. Other thing is you bougt some DUB standar or something from sram that don´t fit in a normal cranset 24 or 30mm If you have a crank set with 30mm spindle you can fit on that BB if that BB fits the frame. If you have...

26er -> 650b conversion on Old Chalk Way

You are not alone. I have converted my S-works to 27.5 because the CB Cobalt wheel set has lot of cracks and there are no good quality or light weight 26 rims, so I went 27.5. And it is quite nice but 26 too. + =

Slightly Cheap and light Specialized Special Edition Water stumpjum ... sorry Chisel ... This is supouse to be cheap with some candies

Ummm, not bad. I still like this combo 😀 This has black pads, looks different from the BB7 regular brake pads. Finishing is a bit better, not much but notizable at close look.Logos are laser engrave not as the normal BB7 or perhaps mine are a bit old.

    1999 Marin Bear Valley refurb

Nice one, the fork match the frame and that group set despite is not pretty, works quite fine (I had it many years ago and was amazing durable) and you got the nice brakes, not the ones that match group set that was a bit ... oversized and ugly compared with the previous one more stylised. That...

    Giant ONCE informations

This is the only road bike I like. Very popular. Lot of variations, the TCR was from a midium range to top team bicycle, so you can find some cheap (normal frame and welds but with team colours) and other more expensive but all afordable at least in Spain, the origin of the Team Once (acronim...

    1999 Marin Bear Valley refurb

Sometimes it doesn’t have to be special but serve to a pourpose. Clean, oil, some new cables grips a saddle and perhaps chain and casette and that is all to have fun. The fork if you have one could be other point to improve but I would go cheap. I have done a cheap project with a Massi Toro and...

Phil / Indy Fab ti SS rarity...the "Piss-Off"

Slightly Cheap and light Specialized Special Edition Water stumpjum ... sorry Chisel ... This is supouse to be cheap with some candies

Checking the wheel sizes, I have to decide what size will go in this frame and fork. This wheels are 27.5 and looks good to me in the rear end. In front ... I would say ok? Not sure but I don´t like 29" too much. The crank set will be 165mm, that will help a bit with the clearance of the pedals...

1998 Kona Explosif work in progress

Where is that nice atom bom!! I have one Z2 atom bom and works fine. :) I remember that frame sold in that colour but not in 1998, a bit later with a SID, in 1998 the fork was the Judy SL (or Indy SL) and frame was yellow like the fork. In other countries the Z2 atom bom was the fork. I don´t...

    Marin Eldridge Grade Lite upgrades

Clean everything, adjust and check brake pads, cables, cables housing, tires depending on the usage. check the chain and casette. Pedals and new grips. It looks nice, I will go for a retro RD but that is optional.

Slightly Cheap and light Specialized Special Edition Water stumpjum ... sorry Chisel ... This is supouse to be cheap with some candies

Some times the solution is in front of you and my eyes have been opened this weekend. Lot of money in brakes? Well I have never have a problem with the ones in the Sworks: the Avid BB7 and the nice extralite ultralevers. The brake lever are like new. And are amazing, no flex, pricise … and 64gr...
