The originals were made by Litespeed, later they added an extra support to reinforce the brake area, (this is the best one to buy). Still later the Ti frames were made by Van Nicholas.

I've had this for some years now, but always as a geared bike with a long fork. All of my previous Single speeds have been hardtails or solids so this was a bit of a departure for me.

I've just looked at my Conti Race Kings with Protection finish and was surprised at the damage to the carcas with the white protective inner clearly showing in several places, but absolutely no punctures. They have great grip and low rolling resistance but I would recommend them for race day...
Had one of these in 2002 or 2003 in exactly that colourway complete with the same forks and seat pin. Nothing stamped on the headtube though.
Edit: The seat pin was a problem for me because of its shape I couldn't lower it enough, also when it was held up to the sun it was see through.:oops...
