thanks wynne but i've already bought a 13-29 and figure it might be better than a 12-30 in terms of derailleur capacity (6 vs 8 ). appreciate the offer though, and thanks everyone for the input! i'll let you know how I get on with it!

Looking to upgrade my campagnolo proton wheels that I'm too nervous to get a puncture on as trying to reseat tyres is tough enough at home with tyre levers. Otherwise they are solid, light wheels. Looking for lighter but equally reliable wheels.
