It depends on how Anal I want to be...I can get a later High clamp Sram derailleur from the early 2000's but that's not really in the spirit of the game is it😆 May have to settle on that for the York show but there must me a high clamp 9.0 out there somewhere

Bugger...the Sram 9.0 front derailleur doesn't fit due to the elevated chainstay due to it's low clamp design. I have a year correct XT m738 top pull which fits but it's really not doing it for me. Any idea's for late 90's derailleur's that would go with the rest of the Sram 9.0 groupset...

Can't beat a bit of Flouro....and Anno for that matter....the 90's were all about bling😆

I think it is on the limit too. Hence trying to come up with some sort of chain tensioner. I'm trying to be faithful in my problem solving to the late 70's. From Alam Bond's pages everybody seemed to go about things in their own way and that's what I'm trying to recreate

It's a very wide ratio. I could probably take out another couple of links but it will be very tight on the largest cogs ( the suntour mech is not exactly a long cage😅)

Cheers...any idea's on the chain tension?

Bike all cabled up. Lot's of tweaking to be done. Main issue is chain tension on the smallest cogs. I think I may be able to loose a few more links but will probably need to fashion some sort of chain tensioner,any ideas? And remember it's got to be done in the spirit of what was hanging around...

Carbon 31.8 seatpost arrived today. Will be show only as have the dropper and comfy saddle for everyday. Needed a bit of TLC but was excited to see a 12k weave underneath .......So a bit of a sand to remove the scratched logo and the scratched lacquer....a bit of a re-lacquer and voila...
