As anyone who uses eBay will know, some sellers have unrealistic ideas of ‘value’, so may not actually sell.

I’ve never understood eBay saying ‘start with a low price it will attract more interest’.

I’ve bought stuff for 99p…
 
Taylors can sell well... but some prices are unrealistic.

We can't guess the vendors reserve, but it could easily cost the full value to restore them.

Often though the tatty Barn Find is a better money maker than the beautifully restored item.

They are almost strong prices in the current vintage bike market🙄

But I remember seeing a pile of rusty old 1920s Rolls Royce sell for 30k when a similar car in good condition fetched 35🤔
