3 frames - Fuquay / C16R / Reflex which to build

Picked up 3 frames today for not a lot of cash
1) Fuquay Custom which needs some work put in. It’s a 96/97 and has had a disk mount and brace added so that will need to go then it’ll need a respray. Currently bare except a Real BB

2) Reflex ALX 79, steel lugs with Easton Alu tubes, has a headset, stem and reflex forks. Don’t know much about Reflex

3) Orange C16-R 95/96 has a headset and F7 fork but nothing else, touch rusty in places but could get away with a rattle can I think

What would you build and what spec?

Fuquay and if the disk mount has been done nicely then keep it
It’s ok but I want to run cantis and the plug in the wishbone has rusted out so needs some repair work anyway so rather than rebuild some of the 20 or so C2’s I have I’ll stick to period brakes

Ok so I have some parts sitting - after repair I need to find some 1997/8 SID’s and a worthy headset, I have Syncros Stem, seatpost and a half decent seat. Drivetrain will be 737/739 with Hope Hubs and 217 or 231’s
Just need a month or 2 to save for the fram repair

I'd also go Fuquay - rare and steel. Lovely.

Only problem is after much deliberation you'll go down an absolute rabbit hole trying to find some Gumbo forks*. By the time you've removed the disc tab, added canti bosses and resprayed (along with the inevitable and by that time now acquired forks) it's going to owe you a lot of money (says the guy who spent silly money respraying a common or garden P7)

In the short term, see if the F7 fork will fit the Fuquay as aesthetically it'll look right and they ride beautifully.

One other consideration for such a whippet of a frame... SINGLESPEED!!!

*I note you're looking at SIDS. Hope I haven't poisoned your thinking with the Gumbo :)
