    Marin Pine Mountain Browning

Nice! From memory the suspension adjusters actually work a bit, which is rare?

    3 frames - Fuquay / C16R / Reflex which to build

Fuquay first for me simply because it's the most interesting IMO. C16's are great riders but a bit white goods especially as the colours went boring after the Clockwork's.

FAT Chance Yo Eddy frame , grello

Not as much as I kick myself for not buying Saltyman's harlequin aqua fade 15 years ago for a fraction of what they go for now!😫

"Isn't modern bicycle technology absolutely wonderful?"😍

It can't really be a yes or no though. Many parts of modern tech are wonderful but plenty of others aren't. As long as there are people there will be disagreements. Full suspension was such a divisive topic bitd that they actually designed a whole system to act like a rigid frame most of the...

Then not worth the money. Probably has a new seat tube as well?

That old 27.5 in 26 debate

My biggest issue would be raising the bottom bracket height but that's because I don't like feeling perched on top of the bike.

FAT Chance Yo Eddy frame , grello

It's high without the fork for sure but I think it would sell if originality could be proven.

"Isn't modern bicycle technology absolutely wonderful?"😍

Yeah, tbf the shoots of what became Dalby were making the press when I lived in Scarborough in 1999. Trail centres have been around as long as many retro bikes.

"Isn't modern bicycle technology absolutely wonderful?"😍

I certainly rather ride Dalby on my XC bike over my Trail or HT! My local, Gisburn would be a different matter though.

"Isn't modern bicycle technology absolutely wonderful?"😍

In my opinion any ride where you ride down hill off road is enhanced by a dropper. I do a loop from home along the canal where the only time I use mine is when riding down the stairs by one of the locks. Totally worth it! It's hard to explain and plenty won't agree but decent geometry, tyres...

1992 Orange Prestige Seat Post size

Usually 26.8mm but could be different for the Ritchey bikes?

"Isn't modern bicycle technology absolutely wonderful?"😍

Very much depends which brand. Shimano are very grabby where as Hope tend to give much more modulation. As you mentioned earlier, last time I went to Dalby it was virtually the same as it had been 10 years earlier when I was riding 26" so very much designed in that era. IMO it doesn't really...

"Isn't modern bicycle technology absolutely wonderful?"😍

Balancing act, isn't it? If you want the grippy, wide tyres that just hang on forever you have to accept the weight penalty. If you want long travel and burley, stiff forks the same applies. Just finishing building my Transition Spur that'll be an XC flier and should come in around 26/7lbs...
