It was an experiment you could change down but not back up. To change up I’d need a triple set up so the middle ring would be around a 54T. The with the 42 I could only use the lowest 3 cogs as Had the moved out for better alignment in low gears so a 10speed cassette became a 6speed.

I’ve stuck on 23c & I’m happy with that but then on my rides these days max is 1hr. Will see what it’s like here once I’m set up & drive outside the city then ride, as a few years ago the roads were well paved..for a third world country especially south of the city
