Anyone ever see this before ? I have come across a vitus 797 that seems to have a record/chorus 8 speed mix on it... but weirdly (for me anyway), the left seems to control the rear mech and the right shifter the front ? Is this a normal thing and I have lived a sheltered life ? Or is this unusual ?

I have a set of top notch C Record delta callipers on my TVT... trouble is someone did a botch job on the set screw that holds the brake cable (normally its a 3.5mm grub Allen bolt thingy)... but it has been replaced with something else with a flathead screw that just can't grip the...
