Hi, I'm selling my Raleigh Royal that I've had a couple of years, which has only done a few hundred miles with a trip to Normandy last year. Modern compact 50/34 chainset on 90's braze-on frame

Hi, could you please let me know if they'll be any problems with my upgrade to a modern compact chainset on a 90's braze-on frame? There's about a 7mm gap at the moment (should be 2-3mm!). I'm now worried that the sanding may have weakened the handlebar. Do you think...

Raleigh Road Ace 1987 - couple of queries

Hi, I've just picked up a 1987 Raleigh Road Ace frame & fork and would like to do a modern build on it. Does anyone know if I can use a modern 68mm English BB? Can I also use a standard 1" headset? Can you use a quill stem with modern bars? It's my first retro-modern build. Do you think it's...
