Something else from the boxes i've been going through a 1992 Alpinestars stem from my old 92 Cro Mega DX. The stem is spot on and is for 1"1/4 (28.6mm) steerer the stem length is 130mm with not alot of rise. Pricewise £30 posted PayPal friends and family please and register interest here first...

Just my opinion but you'll still own it in 6 months time if your wanting that money for it, the retrobike market has fell off a cliff and is no longer worth what it was a few years ago.you could hope for another lockdown though prices went crazy then

Certainly is when it costs more than that for a £150 bike in a bike box, it's normally around the £50 to £60 price using Royal Mail fully insured 🤔

Not sure if it's the one your after but this is off my 92 Cro Mega DX, can't see any cracks either it's all spot on.

Cheers mate,i'm really enjoying building it up it's got my retrobike ocd in overdrive with making sure everything's spot on. Now the U Brake is painted it's now at the cleaning and polishing of the parts phase, wheels, chainset, derailleurs, sore fingers await lol

Whilst up in the cave i stumbled upon a rear wheel i forgot i had and it had this Sachs New Success Rear Hub and this bizarre cassette on it,which is a make i've never heard of so as i've no use for it i may aswell sell it. I done some googling and it seems they were made from around 93 to 95...

What do they look like? Just when you mention white,the stem on my old 89/90 Clockwork had a white stem with internal cable routing it may be one of them.

Found these Exage Mountain tucked away in a box when digging out the Muddy Fox Courier. The front mech is nos and is perfect as you would expect, bottom pull with a 28.6mm clamp. The rear mech is as good as new, i can't prove it's nos so nearly new. My feeling it was on a bike and taking off...
