Well I've got to admit that didn't go particularly well

Right from the first bridleway he had the type of mud that instantly clogged our bikes solid which resulted in us walking the vast majority of the offroad sections.

Never the less the route has great potential and will definitely be re visited this summer when its DRY!!

Thanks to the 5 brave riders who actually managed to get round this

Lucky I only got as far as the meet up breakfast stop 1 mile from my house too.

Chris, the mud recently is horrendous, I fell out with my bike, near Emley moor, last Sunday, ended up carrying the dam thing.

As did we, one bleedin mile into the ride too......


Doesnt quite look it, but both wheels are jammed solid, couldnt even roll the thing....




Didnt want to ride bikes anyway..



Plenty of walking was done all round, even Longy was on his feet..

Scenery was nice once the fog lifted and the sun actually came out for a few hours too..

Amazingly no one fell in, much to James' disgust..



Proper bridge further along, albeit taken over by triffids..



And we had to squeeze round this thorn hedge, not as simple as it seemed due to a nice drop to the left..







Chris' response was sod that, im not falling in, so he barged through the hedge further up the field..
