So you got it in the end. Very nice. Will you set it up as crosser in the future or is it planned for being used as commuter/hybrid style bike?

right now, its for commuter/everyday use, but will def. set it up with racebars/levers as some point...

did you dig out some info on Empella?..it says Heeswijk, on a sticker...thats in holland, wright?

I thought they were from Belgium or at least somewhere near Belgium. It turns out they're Dutch. I have visted their site >> http://www.empella.nl/overons/overempella/

They appear to be located in Erp, Brabant

I've just converted my crosser to flat bars and MTB-style brakes/shifters. So much easier to race than drops.
