I am unsure as to the actual heratige of this. It came in 1995 to me badged as a 405 Ti but there are some frame differences with other 405's I have seen, it was a warranty replacement and bears more in common with a 625 Ti than a 405 or a 725/755.
Anyway after the down tube boss fell of a few years ago Argos in Bristol repainted it in my choice of colours using the Raleigh style as inspiration.
The groupset is mainly Shimano, with Campag hubs and a screw on Maillard block (shimano 8 spacing). The MTB'er in me put a Syncros stem and USE post on, but mainly because the frame uses an odd size of post.
Enjoy!
