Let's have another Pinarello in.

Here's my very last project I've also mentioned in other threads while building it: a Pinarello Paris from the very late 90's - early 2000. This is the one I use regularly now on weekend rides. Original paint, decals & most pieces replaced.

Jan Ullrich won Tour de France in 1997 with this Vires alu frame if I'm not mistaken. Unlike Ullrich, intention is to complete it with DA 7900 and some non-aero rims - still debating which ones to get a sub 8 Kg bike. Saddle is turbomatic 3 Jan Ullrich edition.

How about a bit of retro carbon.

My 1990 Kestrel 200SC with original Campagnolo Chorus Groupset, Record/Wolber wheels and Flite titanium saddle.

Everything is as is was when this bike was built in 1990. My father brought the frame back from the States for me in a suitcase then built it up here, since then its done many miles and been very well looked after.

Still one of the prettiest frames around in my humble opinion.

My classic Bianchi Specialissima from 1982.Original paintwork and chrome in pretty good shape.
Complete disassembly/cleanup/reassembly done, with couple of bad parts change from original state when i bought it last spring.
A nice mix of Campagnolo and Gipiemme components that work well together.

I'll throw my 74 Mercian in the ring, this was bought to replace the 1960 Mercian that I travelled to Clapham from Nottingham for cus the seller wouldn't post, which then was sold back to the chap whose name still adorned the top tube, who had sold it in 1971 before emigrating to the USA.

It's a bit fancy by my standards but I see myself cruising into the peaks for a sarnie on it come summer.

Re: Grandis SL 1987: Full Chorus Group, pedal, Mavic SSC blues

Grandis 1987 Super Leggera: Full Chorus 1987 1st Gen Groupset including synchro 1 levers+ pedals, straps. 3t stem and handlebars. Strip down and rebuild including BB. Wheelset trued and is 36 spoke Mavic SSC blues. New regal saddle added, otherwise original spec.
