hi, i have just started volunteering at a local charity that sends bikes to africa. They are 100% charity based and rely on donations of bikes and parts, which they then fix up and send to various countries in africa and south africa.
When i walked in i was amazed at the standard of some of the bits donated.
Each bike that is shipped costs approximately £6 to transport, so the charity sells some of the better bits to fund the containers, and also to buy much needed spares and tools.

If needed you can contact the shop and speak to the manager, Derrick, and he will confirm i am doing this purely for the charity and that i am not receiving any commission for anything i sell.
