Hi guys, a little help.

I'm down in Brighton next week and quite fancy chucking my bike in the back of the van so I can get out and about when I'm down.

How readily available are tracks around the town? Nothing too far out of town or too strenuous as i just fancy a bit of fresh air and a change of scenery.

I'm staying just off the front just up from the pier on New Steine.

Very.

You could just toodle along the seafront if you want to do Le Tour de l'Ice Cream, there's about five miles of it the east of there and another five miles to the west.

The new deKerf importer opens their shop next week a mile and a half to the west of the Steine and half a mile inland.

If you cycle three miles from the Steine towards Lewes, you come to Stanmer Park, where the Big Dog race is held in Stanmer woods, and above that you get onto the South Downs Way.

Or if you want open downland, cycle five miles to the east along the seafront and turn inland on the bridleway towards Telscombe, there's lots of trails up there.

There's lots of other places, but it's hard to describe without an OS map. Certainly worth bringing your bike I think.

Cheers Anthony. that all sounds great. Though I may revert back to a teenager if I go to a DeKerf importer :D

Luckily though I'm working I don't start until the evening so lots of time.

Only just saw this!

If you want any more tips let me know!

I am usually out on one or two weekday evenings, but it sounds like you'll be working evenings?
