Here is what I am working on currently, its about 1990 -1992, cant remember exactly when I bought it. Paint job is original I am am planning to keep it that way. I may however put V-brakes on it as I have lost the originals. Its a little humble compared to some of the bikes on here but i am planning to use this one.

Thinking back I think that the price when I bought it was £399 for the complete bike, it seemed like a fortune at the time.

Last year I spent twice that on a set of SRM cranks for my Triathlon bike.

Times ave changed!

Got that on my Proflex 855 and 857... somethign about red and yellow.. now whether you like Proflex or not is another matter!

If we are honest a Rockhopper will do practically everything you need a mtn bike to do. Thats a very nice, tidy example. Be nice to see it built up

No idea, bought it in Halfords 15 years ago, but its a great stand; I have a park stand somwhere, but I never use it.
