YETI ARC 1996

Good morning all.

After a few rebuids of old titanium bikes, I launch into the old cans!!

Here is my first Yeti, a 1996 ARC in 19"

Pretty much classic rebuild

Manitou M4
Chris King
Zooka stem
Kooka levers and crankset
HED wheels
Canti control tech
etc., etc

I am desperately looking for a turquoise Moby in 26.8 and it will be finished

PS: (I'm still looking for another pair of HEDs and a 19 or 20" ARC.....
I stocked enough parts to rebuild a second one)

Fantastic build! Did you replace the decals? I thought that this decal scheme was up to 1995. From the 1996 catalogue, Yeti has moved to a single Yeti logo on the bottom tube (no more Easton and A.R.C. decals). Also looking at the 1996 and 1997 catalogues, it seems to me that the seat tube collar was introduced in 1997. So, your A.R.C. may be a >= 1997 model in the end. One easy check: is the steerer tube 1" 1/4 or 1" 1/8?

it is in 1"1/4, it is a 1996.
The seatclamp appeared in mid 1996.
For the stickers, indeed I changed them to have the "team" look

I also have the same one in 20" from 1995, and a 97 (1"1/ 8 also modified in team colors IMG_20220402_112841.jpg
