As ever the devil is in the detail. Having resolved questions re my '92 Cinder Cone seat tube diameters, I now find the crank bolts are not std
Went to fit a crankset assembly at the weekend, same as all my other std cranks, only to find the BB square taper threads (where the crank bolts fit in) are smaller in diameter than a normal/standard fitting. Looks like the bolts required for this BB are a couple of mm narrower
It looks like the original Tange BB with grease port etc and seems in good nick, so I wasn't really planning on replacing it. Is there a narrower bolt set available which can be used with standard square taper cranks?
cheers
