Hey Sherms, You have probably figured it out by now, but yes, 30.4 is the right size. I have one; it measures 30.4 and is clearly stamped 30.4. :)

Hey riojaonly (or anyone else!), any chance this bike or the original poster is still floating around? I would love to buy the original rigid fork being held in the photo! (I have this same bike but without its fork, and am keeping an eye out for one!) I know it's a long dead thread.. but...
