I'm not brave enough to take it apart 😅 hesitant to pay anyone to look at it either if I'm being honest. The cost of film has pretty much priced me out of film photography as a hobby, might have to stick to the digital stuff from now on!

Anyone on here got experience fixing film cameras? 😅 Took the voigtlander vf135 out today & noticed the shutter blades were stuck open after taking a photo 👎 Seems to only be a problem on the fastest shutter speeds

Cool paint! but I agree with @hamster on the price - I think you'd struggle to get more than £20 for it Some photos of the thumbies / drive side would give a better idea of value, but from what I can see it's all fairly low end components

Not perfect, but the paint was a pretty good match & like @hamster said - from 2m it'll look fine. This was 2 coats with some light sanding in between - I painted it on in the end in an attempt to reduce mess, but I think the finish would have been better if I'd masked everything off 🤷‍♂️

The label clearly says THE PERFECT FINISH so I'm expecting good things 👌

I'm still torn, but for now pati - nah has won (it's going to get painted) I'm doing the worst bit first to see how fantastic it looks at the end - depending on the results I might just clear-coat the other bits! First coat of primer is on, I'll go over this with some 2000 grit then see how...
