I measure my Syncros to be 380mm A-C, Thanks! (Edited, faulty tape measure, corrected 😞) If I really need to make up that variance, I have 7mm up top I can grab 😄

I’ve alway thought that blurry car in the background was a 70’s Impala or Caprice, or a Plymouth Fury, but hey, why not what you say? 😎😅

No worries. Good to see an eastern (of me 😀) riding scene too! Here is the 1988 catalog description of the Wedge

Thanks, its a 1988 that I purchased new from Re-Cycles in Saskatoon. There were only a few of these made at the time by Lance Bohlen. Are you in Alberta or Manitoba?

Thanks MattThundrr! We’ve been through a lot together, I’m still amazed at the shape of the paint considering what we’ve been through. Here’s more commuting and winter pleasure riding Locked at the compound at work. On my way home. I always looked forward to the ride home at the end of the day...

Thanks! It fun to think back at all the good times I’ve had with this bike. Here is a photo from back in 2008 when I commuted year round with it. It was -34C, I had studs fenders and an Alias HID headlight on it. It was a machine back then. To think it had a even harder life of riding 20 years...

Yeah the OEM looks to have a slightly longer crown to drop, no matter it seems to handle and rides great. I like the way it looks. Thanks man!

Well lets keep a good thing going :) Here is a late update on my 1988 Wedge. It came back from Dekerf with the fork fixed and the crack in the rear drop out fixed. The fork had the bent steerer tube, which was milled out and an dnew thicker one pressed in. The rear was rebrazed and a sleeve...

Love the Blizzard content here! Adding my1994 Blizzard I purchased used. It was rough and had a few dents, so I stripped it and repainted Toyota Blizzard Pearl White. Built up with primarily M900 XTR, and Campagnolo Miro rims. It’s a Retro/Resto

That’s impressive the tooth pick painting. I also like what you did to the crankset as I’m working on similar for my Wedge.
