A good day out spoiled by my back brake giving up. I made it up to the radio mast and down on Britney Speirs with one brake but decided to bail out to remain in one piece.
I'm sure the others will be along soon to add their bit.

Oh , I almost forgot , unless anything happened after I left I think I qualify for comedy fall of the day. Early on following Rob along a fairly tame track my front wheel suddenly stopped dead on a small pebble and before I knew it I was over the bars !! Luckily only Rob saw it !

I don't like to see velo on a modern bike, it just doesn't look right, unbalances my universe. I'd much rather he was on massive shonky fluro gate with a loose BB and one working brake.

Actually, that sounds a bit selfish now I read it back

Anyway, you guys had a better time than me. I did get out locally (on a bike with one working brake) for an hour but spent most of the day writing up an assignment for uni.
