ARRGH my teeth

Damn wisdom tooth is hurting , been up since 5 and I can't open my mouth much .

Phoned a dentist with the hope that It'll be whipped out by the evening but I've got to wait for the 1st , which isn't even next week :shock: and that's only an xray where the lady will say " oh , you need that out "

Damn town with their damn crooked teeth :x

Must not think about sore throat and funny taste in mouth .

Brother-in-Law used to deal with sore teeth by putting a paracetamol on the offending area and dissolving it, in place, with vodka...

Worked for him....

Just had a rummage around where the legal drugs seem to be and found some cocodamol , which I think is some kind of pain stuff . I don't normally bother as I've never felt any results ( I'm pretty sure it's all a con and they are just selling us little discs of chalk )

I was going to buy a bike next week but I'm going to have to wait , I can see my mouth costing me

Keep phoning dentists until you find one who will see you sooner! Nowt much worse that tooth pain.

High percentage of chalk in cocodamol usually.. hence constipation being a side-effect.. and paracetamol and codeine.

put a clove in a small dose of brandy , then put brandy in your mouth trying to keep the brandy where it hurts for a few minutes .

If it's that bad, go to A&E. . . . wait til this evening though.. when all the tooth doctors are closed

do a search for your local dental college/hospital, they'll do it for free and they are usually reasonably good for beginners.

It's not so much the pain as I've had a couple of them for years now and once in a while one will hurt a bit and I think "I'll have that taken out" then after a few days it goes away and I forget about it

I'm surprised I have to wait so long I didn't think people went to the dentist . Lady on the phone mentioned emergency and that sounded costly .

I'll be glad when they're gone , my mouth Isn't big enough for these 3 extra teeth .

Times change my friend. . . .

I went from age 15 to 30-something without a visit to the tooth-doctor - and needed very little treatment when I went .. now I go every 6 months...
