Bracket... on or off ?

I'm stripping my 92 Kili racer back to bare metal, filling a few dings with braze and then going to have it re-coated, not sure what colour yet but orange or kawasaki green are near the top off the list.
Unsure if I should remove the canti cable bracket for a clean look or leave it as is. I won't be going back to canti's but is the bike less desirable with it off? Not that I'm planning on selling it . Your thoughts please.

I'd keep it and run it with cantis. But I am biased:

I like the idea of Kawasaki green though.

I think you should leave it on. It's part of the design, it emphasises the retro character of the bike and anyway it looks quite nice.

I'm with drystonepaul. Run cantis! If you are intent on v's, remove it but don't bin it. In 50 years time when its worth millions you could always have it brazed back on
