Set of wheels great for touring/winter training/commuting or even entry CX races. May be a gravel race if you can find one in this country.
Spec:
- 36 holes
- XT M770 hubs
- Generic black mismatched QRs
- Rigida Grizzly CSS rims. Carbide SuperSonic bracking surface that is similar to ceramic performance.

- Nice and wide rim at 25ish mm (external dim)
- 35mm conti Spped Kings. Grip worn but still roll for commuting duties.
- Tubes. No idea what but will be the right size for 35mm tyres and hold air.
Straight, true and no dings. Hubs could do with a re-grease but not a disaster. Very usable as is. The great thing about the CCS rims compared to ceramic that there do not flake as it is not a coating. See link above for more info. Re the brake pads. I’ve always used normal pads and never bothered with the recommended ones. Never had any trouble, but pads do wear faster for sure.
