I've recently rewatched 'Saturday night sunday Morning (1960) starring the great Nottingham Raleigh factory.
There's a great blooper about 40 minutes in when Albert Finney sets off to work, turning bottom bracket spindles, and we see him leaving the house and the Raleigh factory sign about 150 yards down the road: not much of a commute!
Anyways, I think it's a Raleigh Record he's riding, hard to tell from the few publicity stills. Nice Brooks saddle though!
