Flite Ti (First gen) - Snapped rail

Has anyone successfully had a snapped Ti rail on a Flite Ti or any other saddle fixed?

I know very stupid question.

I think you can remove these rails?
If so, find a really knackered Flite (plenty around with ripped leather) and swap the rails?
I might even have a candidate donor saddle

Not heard of these rails snapping. Guess they can if given enough grief. I have a red label ti flite with clear logos if you need a replacement. I think it is stamped 93 but need to check.
