Frame Designs that Shouldn't Work but Do!

I've always been interested in weird and wonderful frame design, from Moulton multi tube /small wheel to Paris Galibier.

First up, two designs which shouldn't work but I think really do : French built Ganolo curved seat tube and the the really avant garde carbon monocoque Vitus ZX1

I really like the way the seat post is held quite elegantly in just the lug.

I'd love a Caminade Caminarget ( Duralumin), with octagonal tubes! Pipe dream though, they go for 5-15k...
