Gates Aftermath 2015

Re:

Well, after worrying that i wouldn't survive 36 miles i felt pretty good at the end :D

as ever a great ride organized by Mr Cheese and he even arranged for Scorchio! weather.

Fab company and only a few stutter bumps  oh and not to forget Gates!

Now just waiting for next year :)

Re:

Superb ride yesterday in some of the nicest surroundings, I'd love that lot on my doorstep!

Top bunch of chaps too and great to see some more new faces.

At 90 odd miles that's the furthest I've driven to a retrobike ride but I wouldn't hesitate to come over again.*

Got the seatpost out of the karma Parkpre (thanks again) this afternoon, will get a thread up of my method.

*Once my arms have stopped hurting!

Re:

Mark - thank you, another quality ride :-)

As now to be expected its a great day out with a great bunch of guys and some excellent banter.

Only left Mark's with a new stem and a frame ......

Woke Sunday to a flat tyre .... Who'd have thunk I'd have needed more than 12.5psi in a tyre. Madness.

Already looking forward to next year :-)

I saw this in the paper today:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/aviatio ... heels.html

I can only imagine it was the one we saw "wasting fuel" over the flat lands before taking it down!

Gareth and Andrew could you PM me your addresses as I have something for you!

Re:

As others have said a great day with great company and toasty weather. Always a fun ride.

Some random shots from the day.
