To be honest 2 syllables is better for a dog, they alert to the first then confirm by the second.

I hadn't realized two syllables is better.
Ollie is still the favourite, I like Gelert too, famous Welsh dog but perhaps too obvious.
 
Looking at the cushion in the first picture, 'Dan' would be am ideal name!! Two syllables though, 'danny'.

I'm not biased towards that name though... :roll:
