Thanks cherrybomb,was the Explorer one of the ones on eBay recently,one of them looked in ok condition for £125

I picked the Explorer up of eblag back in May. Paid £60 for it. It's pretty much all there except for having Shimano cranks, so I'm looking for some Suntour or Sugino ones. It's well used, but everything works. Unfortunately the paint is too far gone to save so I'm looking to get it redone. Thankfully Retrodecals can provide replacement decals, just need to get the paint matched.

I think i can see your thinking behind that mate,the colour,chainstay mounted U-brake.

Finally decided on the spec of the bike,going with some M 560 Deore LX mechs. I think they go perfect with the theme of the build and also they go well with the colour of the Fox. Only one problem though the front mech is top pull and i need a bottom pull :facepalm: So if anyone has one lying around give me a shout,also i found a SG small chainring so just need the middle ring now.
Also i've added some blue personal touches to the bike with the quick release and cable guide.
