MacRetro chat and rides thread

FAT's have long toptubes too, you should start measuring what you've got and what feels better. Its always a more important size to me than seattube anyday. This coupled with what stem size you like and can use should dial in most rides.

Gaz, my scruffy old Stumpie could do with a new home if your interested.
23" top tube, 20" seat tube, if Kaiser can get away with a 19" GT you'd fit a 20" stumpy.

Now are you sure you really saw Kaisers white super bike in the flesh or were you halucinating, Got to check this as he still may have photoshopped the pics

Cheers

tis real I tell thee, even had mud on it, not much admitedly :? think he must have some magic coating on it cause my bike was filthy afterwards.

Is your stumpy still a whole bike?, cause I would love to try it for size, seem to remember that I felt kind of perched but would love to be wrong on that score- e-mail me a picture of the trek and I will post up if you are having comp. woes- we were talking about it and would love to see it. Are you feeling any better BTW? Kaiser said it was a bad tumble

Oh yeah forgot to mention the hairy yeti is now a slimmed down version of his old self looking race fit so what out perry the macretro boys are coming to get you

Stumpy is currently frame only but I can throw a SS version of it together reasonably quickly. You were perched on it only because the seat was at max height yet still not high enough for me

I'm out of action with bruised ribs, any attempts at cycling or gardening are rather painful  I'm still going to ride in the race at Dalby but I reckon 1 lap is now the max permissable :(

You'll see the Trek at Dalby, I'm fed up with photo's on PC's at the mo.

My clouds do not have silver linings........

NE and yorkies have a calender posted in there first post of there thread, if you like I could modify the first post to show ours. Any upcoming meets or events for discussion etc.

 That's a sound idea chief, might make it easier to tell at a glance what's happening without having to wade through 4 pages of decision making.
