Well I was there minding my own business when I get a text from a fellow bike perv... Bloody drug dealers!
Anyway the upshot is me owning this lovely old thing.
It's in pretty good condition, so no need for a full resto. Many original parts have gone walk about over the years, although not an issue as I'm not going to build a catalogue spec bike.
I do have a new more period saddle on the way, as well as nos Marin lite bars in black, as the colour matched originals don't even match themselves anymore! DX levers as the STI's are going in favour of Gripshift SRT 400's obvs..
For the moment I've stuck a pair of IRC's on, which I'm liking, so may stay.
I'm so pleased I finally have this bike, as it is really something I've been wanting for 30 plus years.
