Asked him to replace my steel U brake bosses

Over the moon with him again

Alloy bosses 6 grams each
steel bosses 18 grams each= 24 grams saved (pair)

stainless steel bosses 9 grams
steel bosses 16 grams= 18 grams saved (pair)

err... are those the alloy bosses you're using with the Magura's???

I broke the bosses off a set of RC30's with Magura's fitted, if you ride it regularly I wouldn't expect the alloy ones to last very long.

The stainless ones would be fine I would imagine.

Depends what grade of stainless - they vary quite a lot from what I remember...
