My mate is looking for a cheap steel frame

17/18" 22.5" top or thereabouts disc only preferred but def. must have disc mount and a budget of £100

Frame

I've a 2002 19" Orange P7 frame - silver in colour

Although 19" it's relatively short in the top tube, so much so that it's too small for me, hence it being available.

It has disc and V mounts, paintwork isn't great but no dents.

I'm happy to send pics and measure TT length etc if you are interested.

Looking for £50 posted within UK

He is a bit shorter than me so 19 is probably going to be an issue but yes please, tt would be could.

19" P7

Measured up the frame.

It's 19" c-t

Top tube actual length is 22" c-c

Top tube virtual is somewhere between 22.25" and 22.5"

Tricky to measure without it built up as a complete bike but definitely no more than 22.5"

I remember it being disappointingly small (so to speak), I was riding an 18" Dawes Edge at the time, which was a bit small, so went for a 19" P7, only to find it was effectively the same size

Now on a 20" Kona, I reckon if I were to buy another P7 then I'd need a 21"
