I'll get that serial number up here later and maybe try and get some pics - hard to photograph that orange though; it has an aura... :?

I'd call that as a May 1992 frame. Does it have three cables routed along the top tube? If my dating is correct there's a good chance it was a 1992 style frame but possibly sold with 1993 LX kit as Orange got it very early.

Okay, so here are a couple of photos of the frame - don't worry about the wheels, they're just so I can move the frames around easier! They belong on my LE.

Just the two - I did notice on your 93 that you have three cables grouped on one side, mine's nothing like that

If it helps at all, my 92 Clockwork has a 26.8 post and a my 94 clockwork is 26.2

That frame looks a LOT more like my 92, so I'd guess 26.8 for the seatpost.

Yeah, that's what the Orange web site says too - but I bought a 26.8mm and it just does not go in.

I am wondering though if the clamp has taken a knock resulting in the tube closing a bit? When I was looking at the pics I just posted the clamp looks a little 'toed-in'.

To be fair - the whole bike is a bit battered. I felt that it needed rescuing!
