For information-both the 1 1/4" crowns and 1 1/8" crowns have bulges while 1" crowns are flat fronted on the RC35/XCS 1992 to 94 models. The later '95/'96 MXC/MXCD crown with the bolt on end caps were all 1 1/4" and relied on shims to suit smaller steerers. From 1997 everything went 1 1/8" with a reducer for the 1" steerers; no choice for the 1 1/4" though.
