Finally took it out for a test ride today, ended up doing 30 miles.
Everything was spot on, really pleased.
Stopped on Werneth Low to take a picture, looking at the gearing you can see that Werneth Low isn't low.

From memory I think it was 140mm, could explain why I was never able to reach the bars comfortably.
