Rapidfire STIs: XT M739, STX MC-30 - Price Drop!

Old School Hero
First up I have these XT M739 'V' Brake compatible STIs which are in very good cosmetic condition with nice positive clicks throughout both ranges and no lever sloppiness. The left-hand unit's optical gear display 'protective nub' (?) is a little scratched and gouged, which I think happened during an over-the-handlebar excursion many years ago...

Now £35 posted.

Next, I have a pair of 1994 STX MC-30 rapidfire levers in very nice cosmetic condition but in need of a little attention.

The left-hand (front mech) shifter occasionally shifts between position 2 and 3 (the middle and outer ring) without pulling cable. A bit of downward pressure on the lever deals with this, but it might be an easy fix for someone more mechanically minded than I.

The right-hand lever shifts throughout the range OK but with very little friction between gear positions. I'm guessing that the springs are worn.

I'm looking for £15 (which is exactly what I paid for them here around a month ago) plus £2 towards UK postage costs for these.

Dibs below, please, followed by PM. Paypal gift secures. Please ask for postage costs outside the UK. Cheers!

Chainguard......... I,m upset to hear about the STX shifters, they were working when I took them off the bike.... sorry, I didn't know they had a fault.
If we can arrange to meet up I will give you your money back.
Porkypaw.

Porkypaw... Thanks for your kind offer! If anything I've overdone the extent to which the levers need attention. They are not perfect, but for £15 I did not expect it. I managed to pick up some nice NOS LX shifters recently so these became surplus. I just wanted to make sure any prospective buyer did not decide to purchase them with unrealistic expectations!

Certainly wouldn't want to imply that they were not 'as described', when I bought them and you don't need to worry about it!
