Out walking yesterday ( roped into a sponsored walk next week so better see how the old plates hold up ! ) part of the route is along the prom in Worthing .
Seems a bit of a retro hotspot ! along with all the usual array of modern road and mountain bikes i saw 3 early 90s Konas ,
a Hahanna , Kilauea and Explosif all with in a couple of years of each other age wise , 2 Univegas and a Klien Adept :) and i dont think one of them was owned as a " retro bike " they were all just " there bikes" iim sure .
Anyway brightened up that couple of miles :)

Re:

My lorry broke down today , again  , along the kingsway in Hove (seafront road) , when it's propshaft fell off
What a firkin racket that made
Anyway , while I was waiting for recovery van , I saw more steel bikes and canti brakes than I saw at the Surrey Hills ride .

Wow thats a spectacular breakdown !
Brighton and Hove are dodgy like that , almost crashed the van several times trying to see some old bike chained to a fence lol !
