Well back from a nice little ride on it It took me a few miles to realise Anthony wasn't joking in the other thread and it is an 18" frame I was confused by the smaller than usual gap at the headtube but thats because the tubes are so ovalized :roll:

As if I would joke over such a serious matter as the size of an Explosif!

You might never have got your hands on it if it had been correctly described, because Antiquekona spotted it first and he wants an 18 and didn't bid only because the seller said it was a 17. That's how serious it is.

How do you know he spotted it first :?: when I first saw it the looked at counter was reading 01 so he could have but I did see it very early on

When I hit the BIN 13 people had looked at it and I'd had time to have a cup of tea and eat a lemon curd tart, so people had a fair bit of time to get in first

I've had several pms from people who are very seriously insisting that its unfair that I hit the BIN while they were asking the seller questions and that I should sell it to them for the BIN price in the interest of fair play

I've often joked that I've almost done it but I did in this case really spit tea all over the monitor laughing

And just to make things clear Antiquekona has NOT contacted me at all

I totally agree, the system is absolutely clear. The BIN obviously isn't suspended while somebody asks a question - which after all could take days to get an answer to.

Give them a couple of days to calm down and they will start blame themselves not other people for failing to hit that button.
Clearly it was a great buy...at worst a minimal risk.
