What I often find amusing is I can so picture that image of Javier Bardem actually mumbling the comments LGF spouts about tip finds.

Your just jealous of the fabulous bullet hole stickers :P

I paid £263 posted for it

I started to feel jealous, but then I remembered:

1. I don't like suspension corrected geometry - I'm too whussie to need the suspension

2. I got an even better deal than you on ebay last week - a Campag Mirage equipped and hardly used cyclocross bike. It had been the one season fancy of a local TT rider, who delivered it in better condition than bikes normally come from the LBS, thanks to his ultra-scrupulous maintenance. It's alu, but it's the own brand of Paul Milne, a UK store that specializes in cross, so the design should be bang on. The attention to detail is stunning. £205. Oh, yeah, baby!

Pictures to follow when the sun reappears and I've brought the cat home from the vet. It came with Look pedals, so I'm still waiting to give it a proper ride. Please bring me my proper pedals, Mr Postman! Wilcos didn't have the cheap throwaway ones when I looked, curse 'em.

There you go. Not the best photo, but I have a sick cat, eager to avenge himself for his trip to the vet, to deal with. Perfect size for me too. 200-21lbs, Italian power train. The bike, not the cat.

Well back from a nice little ride on it :) It took me a few miles to realise Anthony wasn't joking in the other thread and it is an 18" frame  I was confused by the smaller than usual gap at the headtube but thats because the tubes are so ovalized

Its definately built as a race frame thats for sure  its very stiff for a steel frame and I mean very stiff  but it does result in bike thats great fun to ride 8) not sure I'd like to do epics on it though

Lets just say the forks are interesting  actually their not as bad as I remember them being so they can stay until I can find something else :)

I'll tell you the nicest thing about it though, 8 speed XT :) I've been riding 9 speed far too often lately forgotten how nice 8 is 8)
